The Cactus and Succulent Society of San Jose (CSSSJ) welcomes you to our website.
The CSSSJ is a diverse group of people with a mutual interest in and fascination for cacti and other succulent plants.
Succulent plants are among the most bizarre, beautiful, and varied in the entire plant kingdom. If you share our interest in these fascinating and unique plants, or just want to learn more, we invite you to join us at our meetings and have some fun.

Club Meeting: Sunday, September 10th, 12:30-2:00, Emma Prusch Farm Park
Please note: slightly different date and location!
This meeting will take place on the second Sunday of September, the 10th, and in the Ethel & William Prusch Multicultural Arts Center, a larger building closer to the park’s entrance.
Sara McPherson: Photographing Your Plants
Club member, and keeper of the club’s Instagram account, Sara McPherson will share tips and tricks for making your plants look their absolute best.
We will be debuting a new microphone and loudspeaker system; if you’ve had trouble hearing presenters at previous meetings, this should make things considerably clearer.
